International Families
Marcus tells everyone, “I had the best time at MA." The time we spent at MA is unforgettable. The class treated Marcus like an intimate friend and MA treated us like a family. Our family was surrounded by love and everyone at MA allayed our fears of leaving our home country. In addition to the rich and colorful classroom knowledge, MA also endowed Marcus with many positive abilities. We are grateful for the happy time we spent at MA.

The Montgomery Academy offers Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our rolling admissions allows families to apply throughout the summer and even transfer in mid-year if needed. Whether your child has previously been enrolled at a public school, a Montessori school or homeschool, The Montgomery Academy will allow them the opportunities to pursue excellence in all areas of school life: academics, the arts and athletics everyday working towards our mission of developing leaders committed to honor, scholarship, service and the pursuit of excellence.
The Lower School seeks to educate the whole child by focusing not only on each child's academic development but also on his or her physical and social-emotional development. The Lower School day is designed to help students grow in each of these areas.
The Middle School program is built to afford students the opportunity to explore a range of content areas with pedagogical methods that meet their needs. We follow best practices of teaching and learning in curriculum and instruction, and meet the needs of our unique age range.
The Upper School prepares students for college and for their lives as adults. Students have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of courses in all academic areas, including diverse offerings in STEM and in the visual and performing arts. Numerous Advanced Placement (AP) courses offered in many subject areas help students earn early college credits. Throughout the Upper School academic experience, students build important writing, critical thinking and problem-solving skills that they will need in college and in their careers.
Our co-curricular activities in community service, the arts, clubs and athletics play an integral role in developing character and leadership abilities in our students. MA students have the opportunity to travel across the state, region and country to participate in off-campus competitions and they have been recognized for their achievements at a state, regional and national level.
For all of our new families, the Academy works diligently to pair our newest members of the MA community with a current student and family with similar interests through our "Buddy Program." Parent orientations and conference days are also held to provide parents an opportunity to meet our Head of School, Division Directors, counselors and teachers.
We would love for you to see our school. Please click here for pictures of both our campuses. If you are unable to come to Montgomery for a tour, we would love to arrange a time to hold a virtual tour via FaceTime or Skype.
