The Montgomery Academy Announces
New Upper School Director
The Montgomery Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Billingslea as the new Upper School Director, effective July 1, 2013. His appointment was the result of a nationwide search that took into consideration critical input from The Montgomery Academy school community.
Mr. Billingslea has significant academic and leadership experience having spent the past thirteen years as a teacher, coach, Guidance Counselor and Dean of Students at the distinguished Lovett School in Atlanta, GA. He received a bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degree in counseling from Alabama State University and completed an educational leadership program at the University of Georgia.
Mr. Billingslea and his wife, Danielle, have two daughters: Kori (age 6) and Kayla (age 3).

I feel blessed and prepared for this opportunity to serve The Montgomery Academy.”
