The Montgomery Academy seeks to enroll well-qualified students from a variety of backgrounds who have the potential to be successful, positive members of the academic community. Admission to The Montgomery Academy is competitive and is based on a student's demonstrated ability through performance on the Academy's entrance examination, grades, standardized test reports, school transcript, teacher recommendations, and interview (grades 5-12). Every effort is made to ensure that students who are admitted have the ability to succeed in the school's challenging academic program.
The Montgomery Academy's Admissions Office offers an online application process through a company called InfoSnap. You may pay the application fee online and once an InfoSnap account is established you will be able to check the status of your child's admissions file and view when documents are received by the Admissions Office.
If your family is interested in applying for the 2013-2014 school year, please contact the Admissions Office. Applications for the 2014-2015 school year will be available online in late September 2013.
Please refer to the Application Checklist for the grade in which your child will apply for further information and to see which additional forms are needed. You may then print the additional forms you will need to complete the application process. Should you have any questions, please consult the FAQ guide or contact the Admissions Office directly. We are here to work with you and look forward to getting to know your family.
Lower School applicants and their parents are invited to visit and check out books from our library. Please click here for more information on the Jean K. Weil Library.
