40 AP Scholars Announced

Congratulations to our 40 AP Scholars! Students took AP Exams in May 2017 after completing challenging college-level courses in the Upper School. MA offers 22 AP courses, the most of any independent school in the state.

AP Scholars 2017

12 students were named AP Scholars, which is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. These students are: Austyn Barnes '18, Issey Behr '17, Maddie Brazil '18, Maylon Davis '18, Maddie Hughes '17, John Koo '17, Margaret Leonard '18, Ben Marquess '18, Lauren Muller '18, Hunter Rives '18, Ann Vivian Spencer '17 and Isabel Trehern '18.

AP Scholars with Honor

13 students were named AP Scholars with Honor, which is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. These students are: Taabish Arshad '18, Spencer Campbell '18, Kevin Doh '18, Will Franklin '18, Darry Freeman '17, Andrew Harris '18, Jenny Jeon '17, Justin Jones '17, Reese Kelso '18, Sarah Payne '18, Annie Ramsey '17, Martha Glenn Sease '18 and Fred Tippett '18.

AP Scholars with Distinction

15 students were named AP Scholars with Distinction, which is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are: Ford Cleveland '17, Emily Ernest '17, Dora Eskridge '17, Lindsey Ferraro '17, Pio Jung '18, Gyungmin Kim '17, Anna Kate Lindsey '17, Ellen Park '17, Griffin Payne '17, Arju Reza '18, Elizabeth Robertson '17, Caroline Sellers '17, Brown Simmons '18, Emma Slawson '17 and Talya Whyte '17.

3 students were named National AP Scholars, which is granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. These students are: Dora Eskridge '17, Anna Kate Lindsey '17 and Ellen Park '17.
